Beamit does not collect any personal data. Specifically:

• We do not collect device identifiers or advertising IDs
• We do not track your location
• We do not collect usage analytics or crash reports
• We do not use cookies or similar tracking technologies

How Beamit Works

Beamit transfers files directly between devices on your local WiFi network. Your files:

• Never leave your local network
• Are never uploaded to any cloud servers
• Are never processed or stored by us
• Travel directly from one device to another

Local Network Access

Beamit requires access to your local network to discover nearby devices and transfer files. This permission is used solely for the core functionality of the app and no network data is transmitted outside your local network.

Photo Library Access

If you choose to share photos or videos, Beamit will request access to your photo library. This access is used only to allow you to select files for transfer. We do not access, scan, or analyze your photos in any way.

Third-Party Services

Beamit does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Data Storage

Files received through Beamit are saved to your device's local storage (accessible via the Files app on iOS). We do not have access to these files.

Children's Privacy

Beamit does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
